What’s New for 2009
The 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Type receives a host of updates. The principle model is now known as the SLK300, and the midlevel SLK350 receives a consequential power bump. There are also mild shell and interior revisions, quicker and more receptive steering and a newly optional iPod integration kit.

The 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Stratum is a luxury roadster equipped with a power-retractable hardtop. Three in good levels are offered: SLK300, SLK350 and SLK55 AMG. Pattern equipment on the SLK300 includes 17-inch compound wheels (up an inch from last year), leather upholstery, a slope/telescoping steering wheel, dual-zone mechanical climate control and a premium audio system with a 5-inch LCD riddle and an in-dash six-CD changer. The SLK350 adds a larger V6 mechanism and upgraded brakes. The gonzo V8-powered SLK55 AMG affords go through the roof-like acceleration and includes 18-inch wheels, elevated-performance tires, even larger brakes, a distraction-tuned suspension, power frantic sport seats with driver-side reminiscence, upgraded leather upholstery, a power tiff/telescoping steering wheel and one and only interior and exterior trim details.
Some of the AMG example’s standard features are ready as options on lesser models. Also voluntary are bi-xenon headlamps, an iPod integration kit, vassal radio, a navigation system with an expanded 6.5-inch LCD examine, a Harman Kardon surround-politic audio system and an Airscarf system that directs fervour through vents in the head restraints. For non-AMG models, a “Show off Package” adds 18-inch AMG wheels, a wear-tuned suspension, steering-to what place-mounted shift paddles and a few front styling enhancements.
